Morning Session 9 AM-12:10 PM
Opening Assembly: Preschoolers will stay with their parents during the Opening Assembly and dropoff will be directly afterwards.
Class Time: The preschool class will include portions of structured learning time and free play. A number and letter will be introduced and focused on each week, a read aloud book with corresponding craft, and science exploration with sensory play.
Opening Assembly: The day begins with a communal assembly, including activities like the Pledge of Allegiance, prayer, and Scripture and hymn memorization.
New Grammar and Student Presentations: Students are introduced to new memory work across subjects such as history, science, English, Latin, geography, and math. Presentations will take place during snack time and students will learn basic public speaking skills along with the ability to ask good questions in a classroom setting.
Science Projects: Hands-on experiments and projects allow students to explore scientific concepts in a practical manner.
Fine Arts: Students participate in art and music activities, gaining exposure to various artists and art forms, including classical music.
History Lesson: Various more in-depth lessons corresponding to the history memory work of the week will be covered.
Lunch 12:10 PM-1:10 PM
Weather permitting, lunch will be eaten outside and children will have free play time on the playground. If inclement weather/excessive heat is present, lunch can be eaten in the 4th floor cafeteria and free play in the gym.
Afternoon Session 1:10 PM-3:10 PM
Educational Enrichment: Gym time for physical education, creative projects for art work, and an all-ages educational show on varying science topics.
English Grammar and Writing: Students delve into English grammar, sentence diagramming, and writing techniques, enhancing their language skills.
Mathematics Drills: Engaging math games and drills help reinforce arithmetic skills and prepare students for advanced mathematical concepts.
